Over the summer for one week my family retreats to a lake in northern Michigan. This lake has some little swampy areas where lilypads bloom. While sitting out in my dad's row boat I spotted these lilypads floating off to the side. At the time I was starting to embrace some new artists on my playlist. The one that loaned me the most ispiration was Nirvana. In an ironic twist of fate, lotus often represent Buddhism which believes in Nirvana for which the band was named. So I desided to combine the two of them into a couple of witty photos.
